Peach Iced Tea

Recipe by Hopson Grace


  • 3 ripe peaches, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 7 ½ cups water, divided
  • 1 ½ tbsp loose leaf tea (or 2 tea bags)
  • Ice
  • Peach slices, for serving


  • In a small saucepan combine peaches, sugar and 1.5 cups of water and bring to a boil over high heat.Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring/crushing peaches along the way.
  • Puree with a blender until smooth, pour through a sieve and transfer to a pitcher.
  • Bring the remaining 6 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat, add tea and brew for 4-5 minutes. Remove tea bags or leaves and transfer to your pitcher. Stir to combine and refrigerate until cool, about 20 minutes.
  • Once cool, give the mixture a quick stir, add ice cubes and peach slices and serve.

Tip: Add vodka for a refreshing summer cocktail
