A trip to Vietnam changed Paris-based Charles Coutris’ life. After falling in love with the country’s culture and its craftsmanship, he created L’Indochineur in 2002. Working with local craftsmen, he creates contemporary interpretations of traditional Vietnamese products made of the highest quality soapstone, brass, lacquer, zebu and black buffalo horn. All products are ethically sourced and/or recycled.
