Sweet and Spicy Mixed Nuts
Recipe by Hopson Grace
While it may seem like a contradiction, pairing sweet and spicy is a food trend that isn't going away. When spice is added to sweet, it gives food an unexpected kick. The two classic flavours are powerful when combined, despite being counterintuitive. If you're not convinced, try these sweet and spicy mixed nuts, where honey and hot pepper come together for an intoxicating result. Matching heat with sweet is a Yin and Yang formula, and as we all know, opposites attract.
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted almonds
1 cup unsalted cashews
1 cup pecans

2 tsp kosher salt
2 tsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
