Apple Martini
Recipe by Colleen Graham for the Spruce Eats
For most of us, St. Patrick's Day has become synonymous with fluorescent green beer, songs at the pub and madcap green outfits. In Ireland, however, it's a day spent with family slow cooking stew and eating traditional foods like colcannon (a buttery mashed potato dish) and soda bread. We've whipped up a simple, four-ingredient apple martini to offer a cool green alternative, and the perfect drink to salute this festive celebration. May it bring you a wee bit of fun and the luck of the Irish.
Makes 1 drink
Ingredients
1 ½ ounces vodka
½ ounce green apple schnapps
¼ ounce lemon juice
Sliced apple for garnish
Instructions
Into a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes, pour the vodka, apple schnapps, and lemon juice. Shake well.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with an apple slice. Serve and enjoy.
