10 Products That Have Stood the Test of Time
Some pieces just last—beautifully, functionally, emotionally. These are the hero products you’ve returned for, gifted, and that still resonate today.

1. Hopson Grace for Cape Dorset
One of our proudest accomplishments is our annual collection of placemats that features the prolific artist of Cape Dorset, Nunavut (now called Kinngait). Each year, we feature new artwork and donate a portion of proceeds to the artist(s) or their estate. Just a few pieces remain from this year's collection, until we bring more in this fall.

2. Hopson Grace Everyday Glasses
These glasses are made from a proprietary crystalline glass formula known in the industry for its strength and quality. There's also no pollution or atmospheric discharge in the production, for an environmentally friendly product that's lightweight, modern, and why we call them HG essentials.

3. Hopson Grace Fique Woven Placemats
Handmade in Colombia for us, these woven placemats are made with 100% fique, a naturally sustainable and biodegradable fibre native to the Andean regions of Colombia. They provide a natural backdrop to your daily meals, adding warmth and texture to any table.

4. Modern Oil Lamps
Smokeless and odourless, our modern oil lamps are mouth-blown using traditional glassblowing techniques, then assembled using modern technology. The result are these stunning contemporary sculptural forms and a soft flow that burns for hours.

5. Zalto Wine Glasses ( + Decanters)
We are proud to be the first retailer to launch Zalto in Canada, introducing these hand-blown Austrian wine glasses to a our discerning customers. You quickly embraced their elegance and craftsmanship, and while Zalto glasses come at a premium price point, their ultra-lightweight design, balance, and ability to elevate the wine-drinking experience have earned them a near cult-like following among sommeliers, collectors, and design lovers alike.

6. Olivewood Salt Keeper
When we launched Hopson Grace in 2015, the olivewood salt keeper was one of our signature items—and a bit of a revelation in Canada. Common in European kitchens, we helped introduce the idea of keeping salt easily accessible on the counter in something both functional and beautiful. Ours is crafted in Royans, on the edge of Provence, from richly grained olivewood. With its natural grains and patterns, each piece is unique, and perfect for fleur de sel as a finishing touch to your meals or sel fin for everyday cooking.

7. Luce Martini Glass
We knew this fluted martini glass was beautiful when we chose it—but we’ve been blown away by how popular it has become. Martini glasses in this shape are having a serious moment, and this one captures the trend perfectly. Made in Italy using advanced production techniques that mimic artisanal craftsmanship, it’s crafted from lead-free crystal and features a generous bowl and slender stem.

8. Sabre Paris Flatware
We’ve carried Sabre flatware since day one, drawn to its elegance and unmistakably French flair. Made in France, the company blends traditional craftsmanship with bold colour and modern design. We love visiting with the owners when we tour gift shows, a family who is passionate about quality, design - and products that don't take themselves too seriously.

9. Ginori 1735
We’ve had a soft spot for Ginori 1735 from the very beginning—drawn to their centuries-old heritage, exquisite craftsmanship, and bold Italian style. When the brand went bankrupt, we held on, reaching out persistently and hoping for a second chance. After the Gucci Group (now Kering) acquired and revived Ginori, we were thrilled to become their first Canadian retail partner. Today, their porcelain pieces are once again globally coveted, and we’re proud to have helped reintroduce this iconic brand to a new generation of design lovers.

10. A Table Dinnerware
We first discovered À Table in our early days at ABC Home in New York and were immediately drawn to its clean, modern lines and luminous finish. Designed in Germany and produced in India, this bone china collection is the perfect blend of elegance and practicality—refined enough for special occasions, yet durable enough for everyday use. We brought it to Canada in as an affordable, elevated and modern dinnerware line, and it’s been a customer favourite ever since.
