Established in 1735, Richard Ginori is one the oldest porcelain manufacturers in the world. Known as the Ferrari of tableware, the company has established itself as the gold standard in the world of luxury goods. Ginori porcelain has graced the museums and tables of many European fine homes and luxury hotels, including the Vatican. Known for quality, craftsmanship and Italian design, Richard Ginori was acquired in 2013 by the Gucci fashion house.

Pure beauty and natural charm characterize Volière, the new Richard Ginori collection that epitomizes the masterful craftsmanship and artistic heritage of the Manifattura. The collection’s designs, featured on the signature Empire shape, are inspired by XIX century botany illustrations on botany, skillfully reproducing twelve graphic depictions of various species of birds perched on intricate festoons. The images are framed by floral motifs delicately highlighted by Richard Ginori’s specially formulated pure gold edging. Each figure is split up into different elements and colors, reproducing every hue, detail and colorful marking with a palette of more than fifty shades. The over glaze, applied using a special firing process, protects the pigments’ sheen.
