Made in France, this Acacia bowl works beautifully for salads, and when not in use can double as a bread basket or fruit bowl. One of the strongest woods around, Acacia's resilience makes it popular for both indoor and outdoor use.
The Dubost family has been creating knives and fine cutlery for four generations. The original design of the Laguiole knife was inspired by a shepherd’s tool. Each Laguiole en Aubrac product continues to be hand-made in the village of Laguiole, located in southern France, whose population has remained under 2,000 people since the 1800s.
The Aubrac plateau and the village of Laguiole (pron. layol) have lent their name to these hand-crafted French knives. Beware of cheap imitations; machine-manufactured copycats can be found that mimic this original design.
