Tom Dixon is an award-winning British self-taught designer obsessed with “honest” materials. An OBE, Dixon’s work has been purchased by the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Centre George Pompidou.
A family of delicate handmade dishes and a sophisticated solid brass tea set. The bowls are inspired by the perfectly formed wooden containers used by Jain monks for food and storage.
Set of two bowls hand formed from a single sheet of brass and finished with a warm gold wash with a matte black exterior and unlacquered finish. Each dish is refined but still individual and bears the hand beaten signature of its making.
Care: Clean with soft dry cloth, do not leave submerged in water. Surface patina will appear over time due to the nature of the material.
