For over a century, Berard has been making olivewood items in the mountains of Royans near the northern edge of Provence. Each piece is unique, with its irregular graining and knots. This concrete and olivewood salt keeper holds up to a half-pound of cooking salt, and has an easy-open magnetic lid with stainless steel hinges.
Care: Hand wash and dry immediately – do not soak. To prevent the wood from drying, occasionally apply some vegetable oil, food safe mineral oil or beeswax. Not dishwasher safe.
